2008 - Focus on MEA Market

The global market has hardened throughout 2008-09 with the current global crisis still underway and only a slow recovery is happening in the economies around the world. The merger processes and collaborations in the vendor market have likewise contributed to the strengthened position of the vendors. The consequences for the telecom solution providers are reduced prices, increased requirements to contractor financing and one step down on the food chain.

In this highly competitive market you will only experience success if you manoeuvre wisely. Management must strive to maintain an image of a dynamic and innovative company; and in addition meet the requirements regarding growth, competitiveness and not least find ways to meet our customers’ expectations of pricing and contractor financing.

In order to fulfill these obligations, Reime NIS Group has continued to focus on developing innovative solutions adding to operator’s profitability. We believe that this approach will serve us in the long run and continue to build our brand as an innovative entrepreneurial partner for operators who prioritize efficient rollout. With the acquisition of Reime NIS by ACME Telepower, the innovative green products of ACME in the passive infrastructure domain also got added to the Reime portfolio making it an end to end telecommunication solution provider – from civil work of sites, tower erection, supply & installation of passive infrastructure equipment and post service maintenance.

The effect of increased competition directly reflects the financial results. However, we are well prepared to continue our expansion in the MEA market and act as a trend setting Telecommunication Solutions provider and to further strengthen our position as one out of very few truly focused entrepreneurs helping the Telecommunication Industry to prosper.

Outlook 2009
